Parrot feathers are so interesting and unique.  Did you know feathers are only unique to the avian species and the only other creatures to have feathers were some theropod dinosaurs.

There is so much to learn about feathers.  Feathers are 91% protein, 8% water and 1% fat and to make new feathers it takes a lot of protein, energy and nutrients.
